Cardamom and Fennel Tea
Masala Chai
Posted By Savita
Cardamom and Fennel tea is my every day (wake up my senses) tea. Now, someone will ask me, “3 years of blogging and so many years of cooking, why didn’t you share this recipe before?” I will say “I always thought this tea is so common, everyone will know this recipe.” It is not until recently when one of my friends had tea with me and asked about the recipe and I realized, may be its worth sharing. Someone out there would like to try my family staple morning tea recipe.
Growing up, I don’t remember a morning (not even a single morning) waking up without smelling my mom’s cardamom and fennel tea boiling on stove top and filling whole house with perfume of cardamom, fennel and strong black tea. Till today, without a cup of this tea, feels like day has not started yet.
