Fresh Berry Salad with tangy Strawberries and Mandalin Oranges are perfect start for a fresh sunny summer day. It comes from the Pacific Northwest, where wild berries have been a favorite food for hundreds of years. Fresh lemon juice with little hint of sugar and salt brings out the natural flavor and juices from the wonderful fresh berries.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Blueberries
- 1 Cup Strawberries
- 1-2 tbsp Lemon (Juice)
- 3-4 Mandarin orange
- Basil (Few Leaves)
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- Salt (Pinch)
Directions

1. Wash berries and peel mandalin oranges. Additional Notes:
I prefer to leave orange fibers for healthy reasons. -
2. In a bowl, mix lemon juice with sugar and salt. Slice Strawberries and oranges and toss it in lemon sugar mixture. Garnish it with few fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
