Romano’s Macaroni Grill

I and my husband love Italian food. Though I usually make pastas and pizza at home but recently we had opportunity to dine at Romano’s Macaroni Grill in Oceanside, California. They have excellent selection of fine Italian food. We were so pleased with the service as well as the food and enjoyed our time there.

I especially liked their vegetarian pasta - Eggplant Quadratini (complete Vegetarian Dish no meat or meat stocks added), pasta was so flavorful and complex yet so simple. I really want to learn how to make it at home :) . It had roasted eggplants and roasted Roma and Cherry tomatoes sauce with perfect al-dante pasta topped with teared basil leaves and fresh ricotta cheese, totally awesome.

They even had special going on for appetizers, 2 appetizers for $9, my husband really loved Fried Mac Cheese with truffle oil dip. Crust was crisp and perfectly seasoned and inside was cheesy macaroni. I must mention that truffle oil in cheese dip took dish to the next level.

All-in-all very good experience, we loved food, loved service and ambiance.
