Breakfast is most important meal of the day and breakfast has always been a great deal in my family. Whether we are busy or starting our day lazy on a weekend morning, I make sure our breakfasts are healthy and nutritious to energize whole day. Today, sharing with you one of my favorite way to make our breakfast nutrition-packed with Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials's Classic French Vanilla Breakfast Drink Mix.
Simply healthy, yummy, and nutritious raspberry french vanilla breakfast shake to super-charge your rest of day.
Saturday mornings are often little relaxed and easy going for both of us. For Vishal, because he gets day-off after a long work week and for me, because, Vishal has day-off :-) Well... well.... don't get me wrong, it is not that I make Vishal work on Saturdays. ;) (though he will claim that I do! lol!) Instead, because there is no rush to make early morning breakfast, pack lunch, and iron cloths.... Oh yes! Don't roll your eyes, I really do all this work, every day of the week.
Speaking of which, I have to say, it is not just about putting a breakfast on table, but I also make sure that our breakfasts are healthy, supply nutrients like calcium, vitamin D...... have whole grains, are low-calorie, and have less or no sugar.
After MVP award, Vishal has become so busy for weekends too. Often he is attending late-night seminars or he is participating in Conference/MVP Community meetings on Saturdays. Poor me..... I still wanna have same old lazy Saturdays..... but, not any more. :( Even though, I'm okay because anything for my better-half's health and success, yet, this routine has made me smart and savvy about our breakfast.
To make up for my time, I usually eat breakfast when he eats. Plus, to make sure we don't eat unhealthy in hurry, before our fortnight grocery trip, I make a list of items that can help me serve healthy and nutritious breakfast faster. Then, whenever we go for groceries to Walmart, I make sure to grab all stuff listed. This ensures, I never miss putting an instant yet thoughtful breakfast on breakfast table.
Some of the ingredients in my breakfast grocery list are: almonds, eggs, raw honey, whole-grain bread (if I'm not planning to bake), and fresh fruits. To make breakfast easier yet healthy and low-calorie, I have also started including Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials Powder Drink Mix in my groceries.
The best part! When I'm in hurry, a glass of almond milk blended with Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials Powder with some fresh fruit like berries help me serve high protein, Vitamin D, and calcium enriched breakfast, in just 5 minutes, for both of us. A boiled eggs or a toast (or a Danish pastry if we are in mood to splurge a little ;) ) seals the deal. I often call this my "No Worry in Hurry Breakfast".
I also want to take this opportunity to share the importance of a healthy and balanced breakfast for every one across America. I'm sure you will agree that for a healthy and energized start of the day, it is important for everyone to take charge of their breakfast. And always remember to keep it low-calorie, keep it low-sugar, and keep it nutritious!
I hope this 3-ingredient simple recipe will also help you energize your breakfast in just 5 minutes!!
