Mock Duck in Tomato Sauce
Soy Nuggets in Quick Tikka Masala Gravy
Posted By Savita
Mock Duck as the name suggests is meatless vegetarian recipe but it is prepared and tastes like roasted duck cooked in butter tomato gravy.
Instead of duck, I have used Soy Protein available in most markets these days like Vons, Whole Foods, Farmers market to name a few.
However, if you have some rotisserie duck meat or chicken meat leftover from yesterday night dinner, go ahead and replace soy protein with meat.
PS: Butter Tomato Gravy is traditionally known as Tikka Masala Gravy. This is a cheat style quick Tikka Masala gravy and I'm sue you will love how easy it is to put together!

Savita's Recipe Notes:
Mock duck tastes best with steamed rice but you can also use flat bread or slightly toasted artisan bread with this tangy spicy vegetarian recipe.© Chef De Home. Post content including video and photos are copyright protected.
