Sofritas Style Spicy Shredded Tofu
Easy Tofu Recipe
Posted By Savita
Shredded Spicy Tofu is inspired from Chipotle Mexican Grill new vegan offering - Sofritas.
I am a big tofu fan and I often try lot of different flavors and cooking methods while cooking tofu. Chipotle Mexican Grill recently introduced Sofritas, the first vegan meal offered by a national fast food Chain. For vegetarians, this is a great addition by Chipotle Mexican Grill.
My shredded tofu recipe is quick version Sofritas and it tastes very good. I am not using roasted peppers or chilies in this version. It is very simple and easy to make sofritas version.
Update October 16, 2014- On popular demand, I have added a new Chipotle Sofritas Recipe which is sauce-y like chipotle's, also less spicy like chipotle's, and made with ONLY natural find-at-home ingredients, no tajin this time (as promised). Check it out!
